Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Tableau Developer to join our team in Austin, Texas, for a long-term contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Tableau Creator and Tableau Prep, with strong skills in data analysis and research. This role requires onsite work in Austin and involves building and deploying data visualization solutions, optimizing data flows, and supporting data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain data visualizations, dashboards, and reports using Tableau Creator
• Design and deploy data flows and ETL processes using Tableau Prep
• Conduct data analysis and research to support business intelligence initiatives
• Optimize and improve existing Tableau dashboards for performance and usability
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective data solutions
• Utilize SQL, Python, and Excel (if applicable) to enhance data processing and visualization capabilities
• Work with geospatial analysis platforms such as ESRI (if applicable)
Minimum Qualifications
Required:
• 5 years of experience creating products with Tableau Creator
• 3 years of experience creating and deploying data flows with Tableau Prep
• 2 years of experience in data analysis and data research
Preferred:
• 1 year of proficiency with Python, SQL, and Microsoft Excel
• 1 year of familiarity with geospatial analysis platforms, such as ESRI
