Job Title: ERP Business Analyst (Finance & Cost)

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented ERP Business Analyst with expertise in finance, accounting, and cost accounting to join our team. This role is critical in optimizing our ERP system to support financial processes, ensuring accurate reporting, and enhancing cost management strategies. The ideal candidate will work closely with finance and IT teams to analyze business needs, configure ERP solutions, and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary liaison between finance, accounting, and IT teams to ensure ERP systems align with business needs.
• Configure, test, and implement ERP modules related to financial management, general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and cost accounting.
• Identify and resolve system issues, ensuring efficient workflows and accurate financial data.
• Analyze and document financial workflows, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency.
• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to improve reporting accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Provide training to finance and accounting teams on ERP functionalities and best practices.
• Develop user manuals, process documentation, and troubleshooting guides.
• Offer ongoing support for ERP system users, addressing finance-related concerns.
• Other duties may be assigned as required by organizational needs.

Essential Skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or other Engineering discipline.
• 1-2 years of business analysis, business process reengineering, and solutions implementation experience in Accounting, Finance, and/or Cost Accounting domains.
• High familiarity with ERP software methodology, including system configuration and integration.
• Demonstrated experience assisting in the definition of systems strategy, gathering and documenting business requirements, testing (UAT), and business user training.
• Excellent time management, attention to detail, and prioritization skills.
• Strong Atlassian product experience using Agile methodologies such as Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Visio, and Project.
• Ability to gracefully manage multiple priorities, commitments, and projects in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
• Professional experience in Aerospace or manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytic skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
• 3+ years’ experience in ERP’s development and implementation, specifically Odoo, NetSuite, Oracle or similar modular.
• Experience utilizing tools such as Data loader, SQL Developer, and the person
• Working knowledge of Python 2.7+, XML, and experience with writing simple to complex queries to support audit/operational requests.
• Capable of working in a constantly evolving environment.
• Able to prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure situations.
• Works well on a collaborative and multidisciplinary team.
• Unafraid to speak up and ask questions and capable of formulating solutions or recommendations.
• Recognizes the importance and gravity of project timeline and milestones.
• Willingness to learn and operate under non-standard procedures, as necessary.

Contract durations slated to be 6-9 months. The work environment is primarily an office setting.
