

Senior Data Analyst
OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data analysis and business intelligence, with the ability to transform complex data sets into actionable insights. This role requires proficiency in various analytical tools and methodologies, as well as excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization.
Duties
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.
Develop and maintain SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
Design and implement database structures to support data integrity and accessibility.
Compile and analyze billing data, reimbursement trends, and revenue cycle metrics to identify inefficiencies and revenue opportunities.
Generate detailed reports on claim rejection rates, denial patterns, and payer performance to assist leadership in financial decision-making.
Develop dashboards and data visualizations using Excel, SQL, Power BI, or other analytics tools to present billing trends.
Identify opportunities for process automation and workflow improvements to enhance claim accuracy and efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver comprehensive business analysis.
Create detailed reports and visualizations using Tableau to present findings to stakeholders.
Utilize Talend for data integration and ETL processes, ensuring data quality throughout.
Document processes and workflows using Visio for clarity and consistency across projects.
Automate repetitive tasks using VBA to enhance efficiency within the analytics team.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization techniques.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
Strong proficiency in SQL for database querying and management.
Experience with database design principles and best practices.
Familiarity with business analysis methodologies and frameworks.
Proficient in using Visio for process mapping and documentation.
Knowledge of VBA for task automation is preferred.
Excellent data analysis skills with a keen eye for detail.
Experience with Talend or similar ETL tools is a plus.
Proficiency in Tableau or other visualization tools to communicate insights effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to smash through analytical challenges creatively.
