Sr. Tableau Developer
AZAD is seeking a Sr. Tableau Developer for a W2 contract full-time position based in Austin, TX Schedule: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Monday - Friday Onsite
Assignment Duration: The initial assignment length is 6-months with a high probability of being extended. Compensation & Benefits: The hourly compensation pay rate range is between $45.00 - $50.00. Benefits include Co-paid Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, Cafeteria Plan, and 401k.
Essential Functions:
Tableau Development & Visualization
Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau Creator to support business decision-making.
Create insightful and visually compelling data visualizations that effectively communicate trends and key insights.
Data Flow & Preparation
Develop and deploy efficient data flows using Tableau Prep, ensuring data is cleansed, transformed, and prepared for analysis.
Automate and optimize data pipelines to improve performance and efficiency.
Data Analysis & Research
Perform in-depth data analysis and research to identify patterns, correlations, and business opportunities.
Validate data accuracy and integrity across multiple data sources.
Programming & Database Management (Preferred)
Utilize Python, SQL, and Microsoft Excel for data extraction, manipulation, and automation to enhance analytical capabilities.
Develop scripts and queries for data processing and integration with Tableau.
Geospatial Analysis (Preferred)
Apply geospatial analysis tools such as ESRI to integrate and visualize location-based data when required.
Collaboration & Documentation
Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data solutions.
Document data models, dashboards, and workflows to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing.
Minimum Qualifications:
10 years' experience creating products with Tableau Creator
8 years' experience creating and deploying data flows with Tableau Prep
4 years' skills in data analysis and data research work
Preferred:
Proficiency with Python, SQL, and Microsoft Excel
Familiarity with geospatial analysis platforms, such as ESRI
