

Sr. Data Engineer

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines to process large volumes of data efficiently.
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand their data needs and provide the necessary infrastructure.
Implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse.
Optimize database performance through indexing, partitioning, and query optimization techniques.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
Utilize big data technologies to manage and analyze large datasets effectively.
Write clean, maintainable code in Python or Java for data processing tasks.
Develop RESTful APIs to facilitate data access for internal applications.
Participate in Agile development processes to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
Requirements
Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and performing complex data manipulations.
Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark is highly desirable.
Strong programming skills in Python or Java for building scalable applications.
Familiarity with analytics tools and frameworks to derive insights from complex datasets.
Knowledge of RESTful services for integrating various applications within the ecosystem.
