Senior Azure DevOps Cloud Engineer

Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will design, implement, and optimize cloud solutions in Azure and have extensive experience in Azure DevOps, cloud automation, infrastructure as code (IaC), and security best practices to support scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Engineering & Architecture:

Design and implement Azure cloud strategies, landing zones, and governance policies to ensure scalable and secure cloud adoption.
Develop Azure Automation Scripts to deploy and manage applications and infrastructure using Terraform, ARM templates, and PowerShell.
Architect and manage highly available and fault-tolerant Azure environments, leveraging Azure Traffic Manager, Azure AD, DNS, and Azure SQL.
Lead Azure cloud adoption methodologies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.

DevOps & CI/CD Pipelines:

Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, including branching strategies, build automation, release pipelines, and access provisioning.
Implement containerization solutions with Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), and Helm for scalable deployments.
Manage infrastructure provisioning and automation using Terraform, Ansible, and YAML scripting.
Migrate legacy applications and workflows from AWS to Azure, ensuring seamless transition and optimization.

Security & Compliance:

Configure Azure Sentinel and develop playbooks to automate security threat detection and response.
Define Azure RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) and B2B/MSAL authentication frameworks to support identity federation and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
Implement serverless solutions and API security best practices to enhance application security and scalability.

Application & Data Engineering:

Develop and maintain cloud-native applications using .NET Core, Java, Python, and Angular.
Support Snowflake engineering on Azure to enhance data warehousing and analytics capabilities.
Design and optimize event-driven and microservices-based architectures, ensuring seamless API integrations and efficient data pipelines.
Monitor system performance using Splunk, Dynatrace, Kibana, and ELK stack for proactive issue resolution.

Required Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in Azure Cloud Engineering & DevOps.
Hands-on experience with Azure AD, Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), Azure SQL, and Azure Traffic Manager.
Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, YAML, Ansible, PowerShell scripting).
Experience with CI/CD automation using Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Jenkins.
Deep understanding of cloud security frameworks, identity & access management (IAM), and Azure B2B/MSAL authentication.
Solid programming background in .NET Core, Python, and Java for application development and automation.
Strong knowledge of container orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
Familiarity with Snowflake, data engineering, and analytics solutions in Azure.

Preferred Qualifications:

Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
Experience in migrating enterprise applications from AWS to Azure.
Knowledge of mobile development frameworks and serverless computing (Azure Functions, Event Grid, Logic Apps).
Agile and DevOps mindset with experience in Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
