Pay Range: $60 to $70 per hour

Day To Day Responsibilities:
• A Splunk Developer's daily routine involves writing and optimizing Splunk queries, developing dashboards and visualizations, configuring alerts, troubleshooting data ingestion issues, and collaborating with stakeholders to understand their data needs.

Core Splunk Skills:
• Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL): Mastery of SPL for complex search queries, data analysis, and report generation.
• Splunk Architecture: Deep understanding of Splunk architecture, including indexers, search heads, forwarders, and distributed environments.
• Data Onboarding: Expertise in data ingestion, parsing, and normalization techniques.
• Dashboarding & Visualization: Proficiency in creating interactive dashboards and visualizations for data exploration and presentation.

Alerting & Monitoring: Experience in configuring alerts, notifications, and real-time monitoring for critical events.
• App Development: Ability to develop and deploy custom Splunk apps and add-ons.

Technical Skills:
• Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages like Python for automation, data manipulation, and integration.
• Cloud Computing: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration with Splunk.
• Data Modeling: Understanding of data modeling concepts for optimal Splunk data ingestion and indexing.
• Security: Knowledge of security best practices for Splunk deployments, including access control and data encryption.

Certifications & Experience:
• Splunk Core Consultant Certification: (Required) Demonstrates advanced Splunk expertise.
• Cribl Experience: (Highly Preferred) Experience with Cribl LogStream for data enrichment and transformation
