Must-Have Skills
• 5+ years of experience in data modeling (logical and physical) and working with teams to define data models.
• 3+ years of physical data modeling experience with Snowflake.
• Strong experience working in Snowflake.
• Client requirement: Replace the current ODS model and build a Gas Data Modernization-based Analytics model.
• Experience in a dynamic work environment.
• Proven ability to work well in a team environment and build/maintain positive relationships with staff, departments, and customers.
• Experience with Agile/Lean software development processes and practices is a plus.

Nice-to-Have Skills
• Experience with SaaS solutions such as Salesforce, ESRI, and Workforce.
• Ability to analyze and translate business needs into long-term solution data models.
• Experience in evaluating existing data systems.
• Working with development teams to create conceptual data models and data flows.
• Developing best practices for data coding to ensure consistency within the system.
• Reviewing modifications of existing systems for cross-compatibility.
• Implementing data strategies and developing physical data models.
• Updating and optimizing local and metadata models.
• Evaluating implemented data systems for variances, discrepancies, and efficiency.
• Expert knowledge of metadata management and related tools.
• Knowledge of mathematical foundations and statistical analysis.
• Experience in the Utility and Energy Industry is recommended.
• Experience in IBM Data Model for Energy and Utilities is preferred.

Work Location & Key Prerequisites:
• Boston-based candidates are the first preference.
• NY/NJ area candidates are the second preference.
• ET/CT timezone candidates willing to work 100% in the ET timezone are the third preference.
• Upon client interviews and selection, candidates must undergo a client-mandated drug screen and background check. Project onboarding is contingent upon successful completion of the client onboarding process.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $51.35/hour - $80.23/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
