Our client, in the financial space, is looking to add a Sr. Marketing Analyst to their team. The Marketing Analyst will support the marketing strategy for our growing US Wealth business, expanding and deepening relationships with financial intermediaries, financial advisors, wire houses, and global financial institutions in the United States. This individual will be responsible for assisting in the creation and execution of effective and inspiration marketing plans and activities, overseeing their delivery and execution, and assessing their effectiveness.

This is a 6+ month contract role and would require you to go onsite in Boston 3 times a week.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Assisting in the development and execution of forward-thinking marketing strategies that align with our business objectives and position us as a leader in the industry.
• Supporting the development and execution of innovative marketing plans to improve awareness and adoption of our capabilities, and to create meaningful engagement opportunities with clients and prospects.
• Helping to establish and monitor key marketing performance metrics to gain insights and optimize campaign effectiveness.
• Collaborating with internal and external sources to gather product, channel, and competitor insights with the goal of providing recommendations to drive distribution and market share.
• Developing and maintaining broad knowledge of competitive offerings, market trends, industry developments, and audience engagement preferences and trends.
• Supporting the creation of targeted messaging outreach to support the business and continually build the brand, utilizing a variety of marketing activations across various buyer stages: product marketing, thought leadership, digital, email, social, events, PR, and paid media.
• Assisting in managing budget and internal resources effectively with a focus on activities that will have the greatest impact.
• Employing a data-driven approach to optimize marketing strategies and communicate progress, lessons learned, and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
• Working with PR/corporate communications to ensure channel alignment and implementation of messages in a timely and effective manner.

Keys to the Position:

  1. Bachelors Degree required

  2. Marketing experience in financial services required

  3. 5 plus years experience required

  4. US Wealth management experience is a homerun

  5. Asset Management preferred if no US Wealth Management

  6. Must have experience with intermediary marketing

  7. Broad marketing experience preferred - not just social media etc. Looking for events, social media, paid media (PM), public relations (PR)

  8. Strong project management experience

Qualifications:

The candidate is expected to have some prior US wealth management and distribution knowledge and experience in working with different investor types and multiple marketing disciplines. These include supporting brand and product positioning, digital, PR & communications, campaign development, thought leadership, events, and insight development.

  1. Experience in intermediary marketing within the investment management industry, which should include development and execution of marketing communication plans and initiatives.

  2. Demonstrated success in developing US Wealth channel marketing initiatives that increase brand awareness and sales.

  3. A digital-first approach to marketing with experience utilizing an extensive stack of marketing technologies.

  4. Strong written and oral communication skills.

  5. Excellent project management/organizational skills, including the ability to multitask, be consistently responsive, and manage changing priorities while meeting often strict deadlines.

  6. Proven ability to interact effectively and professionally with senior stakeholders, internal business partners, external clients, creative teams, and external vendors.

  7. Demonstrated initiative, resourcefulness, and creativity; continuously seeking out ways to improve and elevate effective marketing strategies.

  8. A passion for working in a creative and collaborative environment.

  9. Understanding of the US wealth marketplace, including the regulatory and legislative landscape.
