Senior Financial Data Analyst

Robert Half is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Financial Data Analyst for an immediate 3-month contract opportunity in Orange County, California. In this pivotal role, you’ll leverage your expertise in Power BI, advanced data analysis, and metric development to support strategic decision-making for the organization. Candidates with a strong history of collaborating with leadership teams will be prioritized.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create and implement innovative KPIs, metrics, and strategic focus areas to drive business insights.
• Design and maintain Power BI dashboards that present complex data in a clear, actionable manner.
• Perform comprehensive financial data analysis to guide key business decisions.
• Partner with leadership on financial performance reviews, forecasts, and strategic planning.
• Deliver on-demand reporting and analysis for the executive team.
• Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives to optimize financial and operational performance.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or relevant fields.
• Five or more years of experience in a Financial Analyst role, with a proven ability to define and implement KPIs.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong data mining and interpretation skills.
• Exceptional communication and analytical skills to work effectively with executive teams.
