Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data analysis, machine learning, and big data technologies. This role involves utilizing advanced analytical techniques to derive insights from complex datasets, driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. The Senior Data Scientist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and enhance our data capabilities.
Duties

Design and implement machine learning models to solve business problems and improve operational efficiency.
Conduct data mining and analysis on large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
Utilize machine learning frameworks to develop predictive models and algorithms.
Collaborate with software engineers to integrate models into production systems using Java and AWS.
Work with ETL tools such as Talend to prepare and transform data for analysis.
Lead projects involving big data technologies, ensuring scalability and performance of solutions.
Apply unsupervised learning techniques for clustering, anomaly detection, and feature extraction.
Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through presentations and reports.
Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the development of best practices within the team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field; Master’s or Ph.D. preferred.
Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Proficiency in machine learning algorithms and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Strong programming skills in Java; familiarity with Python or R is a plus.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS for deploying machine learning models.
Knowledge of data mining techniques and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
Familiarity with statistical analysis tools such as SAS is desirable.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
