Description

We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Salesforce Developer in the life insurance industry, located in West Des Moines, Iowa. As a Salesforce Developer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions, specifically Financial Services Cloud (FSC), Omni-Channel, and Apex custom development. Your role will encompass working with cross-functional teams, participating in agile methodologies, and ensuring the stability and performance of Salesforce applications.

Responsibilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and system administrators to deliver integrated solutions that drive business value.
• Design, develop, and implement Apex, Lightning components, Flows, and other Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements.
• Implement Salesforce data integration patterns, effectively synchronizing data between Salesforce and external systems.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, perform quality assurance checks, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Engage in agile development methodologies, participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews.
• Understand and apply Salesforce’s configuration capabilities, such as creating custom reports, dashboards, workflows, and validation rules.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing support during testing and deployment phases, and ensuring the stability and performance of Salesforce applications.
• Implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines in Salesforce using industry best practices.
• Clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through effective verbal and written communication.
• Understand and can apply Objects, Fields, Page Layouts, Console Apps, Lightning Pages, Actions, Flows, Roles, Profiles, Permission Sets, Queues, Assignment Rules, Email to Case, Milestones/SLAs, Omni-channel.

Requirements
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Salesforce Development.
• Proficiency in Atlassian Jira for project management.
• Strong backend development skills.
• Experience in Agile Scrum methodology.
• Knowledge of API development for system integration.
• Proficient in C Sharp Programming (C#) and Java.
• Extensive experience with Salesforce Platform, Salesforce Lightning Platform.
• Demonstrated expertise in Salesforce Development and Salesforce Integration.
• Proficiency in Apex Coding to customize Salesforce applications.
• Experience with Omnichannel for seamless customer experience across all platforms.
