Salary: $50.00 to $60.00 hourly

Description

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity in San Francisco, California, for a BI Consultant in the field of data analysis and reporting. This role involves generating executive level reports using Power BI and handling a variety of data-related tasks in a detail-oriented setting.

Responsibilities
• Utilize Power BI to run reports aimed at executive level decision making
• Understand and navigate the data model with support from the team and existing documentation
• Transform raw data, such as spreadsheets and screenshots, into useful, easy-to-understand information
• Learn and adapt to new information and reporting needs, with training provided by the Project Manager
• Use SQL for data extraction and transformation
• Leverage Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis
• Set up triggers and actions for automated data extraction and transformation.

Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years of detail-oriented experience as a BI Consultant or in a similar role
• Proficient in Power BI
• Strong knowledge of SQL Programming
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proven experience in data analysis and data visualization
• Familiarity with BI technologies and data warehouse design
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Passion for data-driven decision making
