Program Manager – Data & Analytics Applications
We are seeking a Program Manager – Data & Analytics Applications to lead and manage complex programs in our data and analytics division. This role is responsible for overseeing the development, deployment, and scaling of data-driven solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Scrum and Agile methodologies, project management (PMP certification preferred), and data platforms to drive execution across multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver data and analytics programs on time and within budget using Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Develop and manage project roadmaps, milestones, and deliverables while adhering to PMP best practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analytics teams to define program goals and success metrics.
• Ensure the successful integration of data applications with enterprise systems.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies for complex data programs.
• Drive process improvements and best practices in Agile program management for data and analytics initiatives.
• Serve as a Scrum Master when needed, facilitating sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
• Communicate program status, updates, and outcomes to executive leadership.
• Manage vendor relationships and third-party integrations as needed.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in program management, with a focus on data and analytics applications.
• PMP, Scrum Master (CSM), or Agile certifications strongly preferred.
• Proven experience leading large-scale data platform, BI, or AI/ML initiatives.
• Strong understanding of cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), data pipelines, and analytics tools.
• Experience with Agile project management tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or Rally.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
• Familiarity with big data technologies (Snowflake, Databricks, Spark).
• Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
