Power BI Developer/Data Analyst

Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will work closely with various departments to gather requirements, design, and implement BI solutions that enhance our analytical capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and visualization tools, particularly Tableau, and possess excellent project management skills.
Duties

Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau to visualize key performance indicators and metrics.
Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
Implement ETL processes using Talend to ensure data integrity and availability for reporting purposes.
Manage linked data sources and ensure seamless integration across various platforms.
Utilize R for advanced statistical analysis and predictive modeling as needed.
Monitor the performance of BI applications and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in analytics and business intelligence.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Developer or similar role.
Strong proficiency in Tableau for data visualization.
Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
Experience with ETL tools, particularly Talend, is highly desirable.
Familiarity with project management methodologies to effectively manage BI projects.
Knowledge of linked data concepts is a plus.
Proficiency in R for statistical analysis is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills to convey insights effectively to stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
