Power BI Developer / Analyst

Responsibilities

Kforce's notable SaaS Client is looking to bring on board a 100% Power BI Analyst/Developer in San Mateo, CA. Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards with a focus on renewals, customer retention, and customer success
• Work within existing complex data models to create accurate, efficient, and scalable reporting solutions
• Automate routine reporting in Power BI, ensuring seamless transition from manual PowerPoint-based reports while maintaining the required format
• Apply strong visualization design best practices to create clear, impactful, and user-friendly reports
• Write and optimize SQL queries in Snowflake to extract, transform, and analyze data for reporting needs
• Data collection: Gather data from various sources, such as sales, revenue, and customer engagement
• Data preparation: Clean and prepare data for analysis
• Data analysis: Run queries, identify patterns, and interpret results
• Data visualization: Create dashboards, scorecards, and reports to present findings
• Data modeling: Design data models and methodologies
• Recommendations: Make recommendations for new policies, software, and other methodologies
• Communication: Present findings to decision-makers, such as shareholders and team member

Requirements
• Strong experience with Power BI
• Strong experience with Data Models
• Strong experience with creating dashboards
• Experience with Salesforce, Go-to Market, Customer Success is ideal
• Strong analytics experience

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
