As a DataStage Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining DataStage. You will work closely with various tools and technologies to ensure seamless data integration and automation. Your expertise in Ansible, Dynatrace, Unix shell scripting, Python, and Linux will be crucial in optimizing our data workflows and ensuring system observability.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using IBM DataStage.
• Automate deployment and configuration management using Ansible.
• Integrate and manage code repositories with GitHub and Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment.
• Implement observability solutions using Dynatrace to monitor and optimize system performance.
• Develop and maintain Unix shell scripts across various Unix platforms.
• Write and maintain Python scripts for data processing and automation tasks.
• Ensure data integrity, quality, and security throughout the ETL process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ETL processes and system performance.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a DataStage Engineer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in IBM DataStage.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible for automation.
• Familiarity with GitHub and Jenkins for version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Dynatrace for system observability and performance monitoring.
• Proficiency in Unix shell scripting across various Unix platforms.
• Experience with Python for scripting and automation.
• Solid understanding of Linux operating systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Specific Knowledge of DataStage Administration:
• DataStage Administration: Oversee the administration of IBM DataStage, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and scalability of ETL processes.
• Data Integration: Design and implement data integration solutions to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
• System Configuration: Understand and manage the configuration of DataStage environments, ensuring they meet the needs of the business.
• Vendor Collaboration: Work with IBM and other vendors to stay informed about product updates, patches, and best practices.
