Primary Talent Partners has a 12-month contract opportunity as a Pharmacovigilance Analytics and Reporting Specialist with our pharmaceutical client in Lawrenceville, NJ. Contract extension/conversion is dependent upon performance, budget, and business needs.

Duration: 12-month W2 contract, no PTO and benefits are self-funded

Job Description:

The Pharmacovigilance (PV) Analytics and Reporting Specialist is responsible for the execution and optimization of data analytics and reporting activities within the Global Biostatistics and Data Sciences Function. This role supports scientific, operational, and regulatory reporting efforts, aligning with the overall Pharmacovigilance (PV) and Patient Safety (PS) needs.

The Specialist will leverage their expertise in data analytics, visualization tools, and regulatory reporting to support key decision-making processes and drive efficiency within the organization.

Responsibilities:

Data Analytics and Reporting—
• Develop and enhance data analytics models to provide insights into efficiency, quality, stakeholder feedback, and KPIs.
• Maintain and develop reporting databases and analytics applications in Excel, Tableau, Power BI, SAP Business Objects, and other relevant environments.
• Utilize internal data systems and automation tools to streamline reporting processes and minimize manual effort.
• Serve as a liaison with the validation team, assisting in the creation of validation scripts, plans, and summary reports.
• Aggregate and analyze data to generate actionable insights for cross-functional teams (Pharmacovigilance, Epidemiology, etc.).
• Prepare and deliver regular and ad-hoc reports to the management team, ensuring accurate tracking of activities, outcomes, and trends.
• Support the collection and analysis of data for monthly reports and quarterly reviews.

Strategic Process Improvement and Innovation—
• Assess and interpret the process impact of new PV tools and methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance analytical programs and reporting mechanisms.
• Support innovation initiatives by contributing to project activities and identifying areas for improvement.
• Define and provide metric reporting and data-driven insights to support decision-making processes.
• Address key stakeholder concerns and collaborate with relevant functional leads to propose realistic solutions.

Data Integrity and Compliance—
• Ensure data integrity and traceability across the transformation lifecycle from source to target.
• Adhere to validation processes and documentation standards for compliance with industry regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Information Sciences, or related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in Drug Safety/Pharmacovigilance (preferred).
• Extensive experience with SAP Business Objects, Tableau, and Power BI for interactive dashboards and reporting.
• Advanced SQL experience for data querying and manipulation.
• Familiarity with commercial coding dictionaries (MedDRA, WHO Drug).
• Strong ability to organize and analyze data, identifying trends and insights from complex datasets.
• Knowledge of taxonomies, ontologies, and knowledge management constructs.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel for reporting and presentations.
• Understanding of validation processes and associated documentation.
