Job Title: Sr Oracle Developer TIBCO Developer

Duration: Long term

Experience: 12+ years

Location: silver Spring, MD

Job Description/Responsibilities:
• Providing technical analysis, design, development, implementation and maintenance support of large scale enterprise Data Warehouse and Federal Financial applications and associated interfaces.
• Providing expert Oracle 12c programing, including tuning and optimizing packages, stored procedures, PL SQL, and the application in an Oracle 12c RDBMS environment.
• Support integration of applications running in a UNIX / Solaris 11.4 environment, including supporting development of UNIX scripts.
• Developing software PL/SQL code, interfaces, and reports / queries to meet customer requirements.
• Provide TIBCO development and TIBCO Admin support in a Wintel server environment.
• Work closely with other members of the development team and provide senior technical support and guidance as required.

Requirements: Successful candidates shall have the following skills/abilities:
• Must have exceptional analytic skills, and demonstrated ability to perform critical thinking to resolve complex issues. This will be thoroughly evaluated during any interview.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interface directly with customers.
• 12+ years of progressive Oracle application development experience using Oracle databases, including web-based application development tools.
• Experience with developing and administering TIBCO projects.
• Extensive experience with Oracle PL SQL and Forms and Reports 11g or 12c is required.
• Federal administrative application experience is highly desirable.
• Expertise in all aspects of the modern software development lifecycle (SDLC) development approaches that integrate IT security.
• Expert experience implementing production quality applications including development of “As Implemented” documentation.
• Development of UNIX scripting preferably in a Solaris 11.4 environment. Solid understanding of UNIX privileges, SFTP, and file encryption/decryption.
• Must have demonstrated technical skills focused on resolving issues and problems.
• Ability to analyze complex inputs and translate data into well-defined system requirements
• Experience interacting with development teams, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and DBAs as part of operations support.
• Experience in Business Intelligence marts and the Tableau reporting tool.
• Familiarity with tools such as TOAD are desirable.
