Summary:

In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Data Management. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Data Management challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.

Responsibilities:
• Lead or participate in moderate to high risk or complex review activities in a matrix environment and communicate emerging risks to management timely
• Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations
• Review and research moderately complex potential data defects, and follow through on reporting, escalation, and resolution
• Ensure effective and appropriate root cause analysis, impact analysis, remediation validation, evidence gathering and documentation of defect management activities
• Collaborate and consult with colleagues, stakeholders, management and lines of business regarding risk management and control assessment
• Document data defects details in the enterprise data quality tool (EDQDM)

Qualifications:
• Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
• Advanced Product and/or Regulatory Report Experience
• Proficiency with data flows, report outputs, and data dictionaries
• Ability to work independently and manage against deadlines.
• Knowledge of the banking and finance industry including risk report, analytics, and controls
• Master Data Management (MDM): Familiar with MDM practices for maintaining and managing critical business data entities across the organization.
• Experience with data risk management concepts, regulatory reports, audit, and controls
• Experience with Shared Risk Platform (SHRP)/Veritas reporting and issue management
• Previous Wells Fargo Commercial Banking and Lending (CBL) experience in data domain. (Preferred)
