Job Title: Lead Data Governance Analyst – Consumer
Type: Contract-to-Hire

Overview:
Here is an exciting opportunity to join a retailer that serves consumers across the globe. You will be a key piece within their Global Analytics & Insights organization that services 20+ business units.
In this role you will be a senior individual contributor in a team of analysts to drive efforts for higher quality data obtained & provided to analytics team driving impact through insights in the Master Customer Domain
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure accurate, complete, and de-duplicated customer profiles across CRM, loyalty programs, and e-commerce platforms.
• Enforce adherence to CCPA, GDPR, and PCI-DSS, managing opt-ins, consents, and data retention policies for customer data.
• Document and track customer purchase history, browsing behavior, and loyalty interactions to support personalization and analytics.
• Define data governance policies for omnichannel retail data, ensuring seamless integration across POS, mobile apps, and online platforms.
• Partner with teams to enhance customer segmentation, targeted campaigns, and AI-driven recommendations while maintaining data accuracy.
• Utilize MDM, CDPs (like Salesforce, Adobe), SQL, and data governance platforms (Collibra, Alation) to maintain data consistency across systems.
Requirements:
• Direct experience performing in Data Governance analyst positions
• Expertise with MDM tools such as Tibco EBX, Riverstand, etc.
• Expertise with Data Governance Skills such as Collibra, Azure Purview, etc.
• Comfortable leading from the front showcasing a mentoring attitude to more junior team members
• Proficient in communicating with stakeholders of all levels
• Background in retail settings
• Experience working with Consumer or Customer data
