Summary

The Demand Response (DR) Coordination Analyst will be part of a 4 person Client Utilities Strategy team partnered with ComEd's Clean Energy Solutions to evolve and enhance one of the nation's largest behavioral DR opt-in programs called Peak Time Savings ("PTS”). The program provides residential electric utility customers the opportunity to earn bill credits on their energy bills for voluntarily shifting and reducing their energy use on days with Peak Time Savings Hours between May to October. Participants are notified in advance of a Peak Time Savings Hours event via their preferred notification method(s). The DR Coordination Analyst will take direction from the Client DR program consultant and senior manager to perform DR seasonal readiness preparations, DR event coordination and post event/season reconciliation, validation and leadership reporting responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Development of DR Event forecasting reports

Hosting DR forecasting meetings twice a week as needed

Assist with Drive the creation a program weekly summary report containing customer participation, billing, and load reduction results

Assist with coordinating DR events to include the following (which involve having access to customer PII data)

Drafting internal communications to stakeholders, such as business and IT

Monitoring customer inquiries

Assist with responding to customers

Develop post DR event summary reports

Manipulate and cross-compare large datasets via Excel to reconcile and analyze customer enrollments, notification preferences, behavioral reductions and bill credits

Maintain PowerBI dashboards and create data visualizations

Requirements

Business Analyst with 2-4 years in client facing project roles

Possess strong oral and written communication skills

Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) including being comfortable with manipulatinglarge Excel workbooks (>350,000 rows), formulas, pivot tables and table joining (VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH)

Analytical thinking for translating data into informative reports, charts and visuals

Developing client leadership slideware (strong PowerPoint visuals)

Experience developing visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI desktop.

Preferred: Utilities industry (gas/electric) experience is preferred

Preferred: Experience with Python web scraping is a plus

Pay rate: $46.61-$51.61hr
