Job title - Report Developer

Duration - 10+ Months contract

Location - Dallas,TX / Charlotte, NC / Atlanta, GA / Hopkins, MN

• Can you please provide a summary of the project/initiatives which describes what’s being done? - building Data lake on AWS / Snowflake to provide unified Finance Data Platform
• What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position? (Please be detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily basis) -
• designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence (BI) reporting systems , creating data visualizations, building dashboards / reports
• Create interactive reports and dashboards using BI tools, incorporating data visualizations to effectively communicate insight
• Write complex SQL queries to retrieve data from the data warehouse for analysis and reporting
• Utilize visual elements like charts, graphs, and maps to present complex data in a clear and understandable manner.
• Monitor BI systems for performance issues, troubleshoot errors, and implement updates and improvements
• Create and maintain technical documentation for BI systems and reports
• What skills/technologies are required (please include the number of years of experience required)?

o 15+ years of experience in IT, designing, developing, implementing, testing, and training Business Intelligence Applications with extensive data warehousing expertise in business requirements gathering, data modeling, development, implementation, and testing.

o Extensive experience in Business Intelligence tools like Microsoft Power BI (must have), Tableau, or Microstrategy, Crystal Reports with hands-on expertise in data migration tools - 12+ years of experience

o Skilled in data modeling, normalization, business process analysis, re-engineering, and logical & physical database design - 10+ years of experience

o Develop and manage Power BI solutions, leveraging Power Query for efficient data transformation, designing reports, and administering Power BI Service to ensure seamless data access, security, and performance optimization - 10+ years of experience (must have)

o Strong understanding of SQL for data manipulation and querying. - 12+ years of experience

o Strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends - 10+ years of experience
