

IT Data Analyst
Our client, a leading tech company, is seeking a detail-oriented IT Data Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for acquiring, processing, and analyzing data to support business decisions. This role involves maintaining and optimizing databases, identifying trends in complex datasets, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

• Please note, this is an onsite, 12-month contract located in San Francisco. Pay will be $58.60/hr.
•
• Key Responsibilities:
• Acquire data from primary and secondary sources, ensuring its accuracy and reliability.
• Maintain and manage databases, data systems, and other IT infrastructures related to data storage and processing.
• Filter, clean, and validate data by reviewing reports, system outputs, and performance indicators to identify and correct errors.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex datasets to provide actionable insights.
• Develop and implement data collection systems and strategies to optimize data quality and efficiency.
• Use statistical techniques to interpret data and generate reports that support business decision-making.
• Work closely with IT and business teams to understand data requirements and provide solutions.
• Assist in automating processes and developing dashboards for data visualization.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, IT Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of database management, SQL, and data warehousing.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or Java for data analysis.
• Understanding of statistical techniques and data modeling.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
