

Enterprise Architect
Element6's client is looking for an Enterprise Architect to join their team in Brookfield, WI. As an Enterprise Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the architectural vision and roadmap of the organization. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing enterprise systems that align with the company's business goals and objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of both technical and business aspects to ensure seamless integration of systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with business leaders to understand and document their strategic goals and requirements.
• Develop and maintain a capability map of the organization's business environment. Tie capabilities to more granular business artifacts (e.g. business processes) and their supporting IT systems and underpinning technologies.
• Identify opportunities for leveraging technology to achieve business goals and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external partners, to gather business and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with solution architects to design IT systems that fulfill requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers to integrate architectural considerations into project planning and execution.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
• Develop architectural standards and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality across IT systems.
• Develop and maintain architectural documentation, including diagrams, roadmaps, and guideline,
• Ensure the scalability, integrity, security, and sustainability of architecture solutions.
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, platforms, and tools to support the enterprise architecture.
• Conduct regular reviews and assessments of IT systems to ensure they align with architectural principles and business goals.
• Conduct regular reviews and assessments of existing architecture to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to IT teams on best practices and architectural standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
• Proficiency in requirements gathering and analysis.
• Strong knowledge of system architectural design.
• Knowledge of project management techniques and methodologies.
• Experience with cloud computing, on-premises data center and network design, and cybersecurity.
• Strong knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity practices and designs.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Education and Experience:
• A master’s degree in business administration (MBA) or information systems (MIS) is highly desirable.
• Certifications in enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF and BIZBOK, are desirable.
• At least 5 years of experience in IT architecture, or 10 years in other IT roles with system design responsibilities, with a focus on enterprise environments in medium to large business environments.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering IT projects and initiatives.
• Experience working in the financial industry, and especially experience working in credit unions, is highly desirable.
