Job Title: DevOps Engineer (GitLab Background)

Location: Frisco, TX (Onsite – 3 days per week)

Job Type: Contingent Worker (Contract)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with a strong background in GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in DevOps practices, containerization, automation scripting, and cloud technologies, with a focus on AWS and Kubernetes. This role requires hands-on expertise in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and troubleshooting infrastructure issues in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Manage Docker and Kubernetes deployments for containerized applications.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using scripting languages.
• Troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues in real-time, ensuring high availability.
• Monitor system performance using tools like Grafana and resolve incidents proactively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve DevOps practices and system reliability.
• Ensure security, scalability, and compliance across all DevOps processes.
• Support and enhance AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2, IAM, ELB, S3, and Aurora.

Required Skills & Experience:

✅ DevOps Experience: 7+ years

✅ GitLab: 7+ years (Version control, CI/CD pipeline management)

✅ CI/CD Pipelines: 7+ years (Building & maintaining pipelines)

✅ Containerization: 5+ years (Docker & Kubernetes)

✅ Cloud Infrastructure: AWS (EC2, IAM, ELB, S3, Aurora)

✅ Automation Scripting: Strong hands-on experience

✅ Incident Management & Infrastructure Troubleshooting

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

➕ GoLang Development: 3+ years

➕ Python & Other Scripting Languages

➕ Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools

➕ Telecom Industry Experience (Preferred but not required)

Other Requirements:
• Onsite Requirement: Yes (3 days per week at Frisco, TX 75034)
• Certifications: Relevant DevOps and Cloud certifications preferred
• Prior Experience with Similar Roles: If applicable, provide details
