Primary Talent Partners has a 6-month contract opportunity for a DevOps engineer with our great pharma client in Indianola, PA.
• Open to local candidates only, must be willing to work onsite.

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage the cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS) including identity and access management, network architecture, application security, logging, monitoring, and deployment
• Collaborate with software architects and developers to configure and deploy new infrastructure and application hosting requests
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enhance the infrastructure delivery process
• Continuously optimize cloud infrastructure efficiency thru automation to enhance productivity and reliability for software development teams
• Maintain integrated and hosted development-based applications, providing recommendations and implementing improvements, while ensuring best practices are followed
• Stay up to date with AWS services and cloud industry trends
• Utilize industry-standard tools and best practices to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management
• Monitor system performance and reliability, making improvements and optimizations where necessary
• Collaborate with development and operations teammates to efficiently troubleshoot issues across the entire stack
• Offer technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members
• Keep stakeholders informed through effective communication.
• Develop and maintain security and process best practice documentation following standards
• Qualify build pipelines and development tool installations

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ yrs relevant experience, with a focus on AWS
• Prior medical device or compatible software experience, to include knowledge of quality regulations required
• Proficient in Terraform, Ansible, AWS and AutoIT
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, and development platforms such as GitHub and Jfrog Artifactory
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architecture
• Strong knowledge of C#, C++, Powershell, Yaml, Python and Batch languages
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Strong understanding of Agile software development methodologies (e.g. SCRUM)
• Strong accountability and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Certifications or demonstration of deep knowledge of cloud computing concepts and experience with multiple major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Prior experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
