Database Engineer
Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Database Engineer for a contract position in Redmond, WA. The opportunity will be four months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.
Qualifications:
• Years of Experience Required: 8-10 overall years of experience in the field.
• Degrees or certifications required: Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field is required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
• Disqualifiers: Candidates not willing to work 5 days onsite will not be eligible for the role.
• Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain the following:
• Experience with broad technology delivery, including custom development using various development languages.
• Experience with providing technical leadership, mentoring on software engineering design, development, and frameworks, analyzing alternatives, and presenting technical options to leads and clients.
• Experience with driving technical planning and solutions for small software portfolio, including authoring or managing the development of software designs, managing vendor evaluations, and justifying technical recommendations.
• Ability to apply fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments.
• Experience with Python, Synapse, Kusto, Databricks, Data Pipelines, SQL.
• Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on quality of work and meeting deadlines.
• Minimum 8-10 years experience with Python
• Minimum 8-10 years experience with Synapse
• Minimum 8-10 years experience with Kusto
