Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Visualization Specialist in Englewood, CO. Summary: We are seeking a skilled Data Visualization Specialist to translate complex datasets into compelling, easy-to-understand visual representations. This professional will play a critical role in communicating data-driven insights to stakeholders across the organization, thereby enabling data-informed decision-making. Primary Responsibilities:
• Data Visualization Design: Create clear, accurate, and engaging data visualizations, charts, and dashboards using various visualization tools
• Storytelling with Data: Translate raw data into compelling stories that convey actionable insights to different audiences, from technical to non-technical
• Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand information needs and translate them into effective visual forms
• Tool Proficiency: Stay updated with the latest data visualization tools and techniques, recommending and implementing best-fit solutions
• Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy and consistency of visualizations, maintaining a high standard of quality and professionalism
• Training & Support: Provide training and support to end-users on how to interpret and interact with data visualizations
• Reporting & Presentation: Prepare and present data visualizations in internal meetings, reports, and presentations

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field; An Advanced degree could be beneficial
• A portfolio showcasing data visualization projects, preferably in a commercial setting
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data visualization, with at least 3 years in a specialized role
• Experience with big data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and data warehouses/marts (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift) is advantageous
• Understanding of data modeling concepts and the ability to conceptualize data structures for effective visualization
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
• Excellent communication and storytelling abilities; Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proficiency in tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or QlikView; Familiarity with JavaScript libraries like D3.js is a plus
• Strong coding skills in SQL, Python, or data extraction and manipulation

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
