Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Charlotte, NC that is seeking a Data Visualization Lead. Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, analysts, and IT teams, to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical requirements
• Design and develop data models that are optimized for performance and ease of use; This includes creating relationships between tables, defining calculated columns, and implementing measures using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
• Challenge API driven datasets and how they are reported in Power BI
• Connect to various data sources such as SQL databases, cloud services, Excel spreadsheets, and other data repositories; ensure data is accurately imported and updated regularly
• Design and create interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards; Use Power BI features like slicers, filters, and drill-downs to enhance user experience and data exploration
• Use Power Query to clean, transform, and shape data as required; his may involve merging tables, pivoting data, and implementing complex transformations
• Monitor and optimize the performance of reports and dashboards; This includes tuning data models, optimizing DAX queries, and ensuring efficient data refresh processes
• Perform thorough testing of reports and dashboards to ensure data accuracy and reliability; Validate results with stakeholders to ensure they meet business requirements
• Document data models, report logic, and processes; Provide training and support to end-users to help them effectively use Power BI reports and dashboards
• Regularly update reports and dashboards to reflect new business requirements, data changes, and feedback from users.
• Ensure data security and compliance with organizational policies
• Ensure the Dashboards are compliant with UI/UX standards set by the organizational policy

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
