Job title: Data Engineer with Data bricks
Location: Pleasanton CA (Onsite 5 days a week)
Job Type: Contract
Note: 11 to 15 years of overall experience.
An ideal candidate would cover the following:
Able to bridge a set of tech agnostic capability requirements and give a neutral take on what the tradeoffs are for doing this in databricks vs. alternative solutions.
Delta Lake and Unity Catalog are core and probably won't be replaced, but the model dev -> deploy -> maintenance part has some room for creative solutioning (e.g. Tecton & H2O already in place with some talks of AWS Bedrock)
Data architecture is a bonus
