Data Engineer
Aureon Consulting is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Data Engineer to oversee and enhance a data infrastructure, facilitating data-driven decision-making processes. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines and data lake. This role requires a strong grasp of data engineering principles, expertise in various data integration tools and technologies, along with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders throughout the organization.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in data engineering, including data pipeline development, data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling.
Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases, preferably Oracle.
Experience with data integration tools (e.g., Informatica, SSIS, Talend, Apache Airflow).
Experience integrating data from ERP systems.
Experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions.
Experience with HR/Payroll systems.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Candidates must be in the local area and able to come onsite for an in-person interview.
