ASSYST is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to support the creation and enhancement of multiple data products, including the DPS report, ITD dashboard, and various automation efforts for our State client in Austin, Texas. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis capabilities and expertise in Tableau dashboard creation, Tableau Prep, Python, SQL, and Microsoft Excel. This position will play a crucial role in transforming data into actionable insights and optimizing data workflows for improved decision-making.
Job Type: Contract (Corp to Corp/C2C or 1099) Job Location: Austin, Texas (Fully Onsite)
Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and enhance Tableau dashboards to support business intelligence initiatives.
Design and deploy data flows using Tableau Prep to streamline data processing.
Conduct in-depth data analysis and research to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
Assist in automating existing data products to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and develop solutions.
Utilize Python and SQL for data manipulation, automation, and integration with various platforms.
Apply Microsoft Excel functions and features to analyze and present data effectively.
Support geospatial analysis projects using ESRI or similar platforms (preferred).
Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security in all analytics and reporting efforts.
Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience creating products with Tableau Creator.
3+ years of experience developing and deploying data flows with Tableau Prep.
2+ years of experience in data analysis and data research work.
Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Microsoft Excel.
Familiarity with geospatial analysis platforms such as ESRI.
