Pay: $60-68/hr

Summary: We are seeking a Data Analyst to join the team of our client in IL. This position involves working closely with management to execute analytical initiatives. Key responsibilities include developing reports and dashboards, generating insights through analytics, and identifying opportunities for improvement. The role requires a deep understanding of the business, the underlying data used for analytics, and various analytical techniques.

The ideal candidate for this role is an analytical thinker with at least 1 year of Python experience and 4+ years of hands-on AWS experience, including Snowflake and S3. They possess deep knowledge of SQL and relational databases, as well as familiarity with Data Warehouse technologies like Unix, Ab Initio, and Maestro. They thrive in fast-paced environments, excel in communication, and have experience in the financial industry. This candidate is also eager to learn and share knowledge, making them a valuable team player.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for working closely with management to execute analytical initiatives.
• Develops reports & dashboards; generates insights through analytics and identify opportunities for improvement while continuing to develop a strong understanding of the business, the underlying data used for analytics and analytical techniques.

Must Haves:
• 1+ years Python experience
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) based solutions such as Snowflake and S3.
• Knowledge of Data Warehouse technology (Unix /Ab Initio/ Snowflake/Maestro)
• Deep knowledge and very strong in SQL and Relational Databases
• Willingness to continuously learn & share learnings with others
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
• Very strong verbal & written communication skills
• Experience within the Financial industry
