Job Title: CPQ Developer
Location: Brea, CA
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
Duration: 9 Months
CPQ Developer (Oracle iQuotes /Big Machines)
Role Overview:
The CPQ Developer will join the Global SFDC/CRM/CPQ
Team as an individual contributor to support CRM applications for various business functions, including:
• Field Sales
• Sales Operations
• Marketing
• Sales Management
• Product Management
• Legal
• Finance
The ideal candidate must have:
• Extensive experience in the Quote to Cash (Q2C) process
• Advanced experience in complex projects and configurations
• Proficiency in scripting languages
• Ability to work independently once provided direction and objectives
This role involves working with business users and IT team members to configure, design, and deliver solutions that automate sales processes and support Customer Relationship Management (CRM) strategies.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with business functions to understand ongoing maintenance, enhancements, and project requirements
• Document implementation plans, technical designs, and solutions
• Identify and evaluate best practices for internal and external tools, making recommendations for improvements
• Stay updated on trends in CRM technology, including new enhancements and capabilities
• Design and develop configurations and custom applications in a sandbox environment
• Enhance commerce pricing/approval functions to support a growing global business
• Build reporting metrics
• Design, implement, and support document output from CPQ to meet business and legal requirements
• Support and enhance CPQ integration with Salesforce CRM and Oracle ERP
• Test and validate functionality and integrity before deploying changes to production
• Ensure seamless system integration across platforms
• Keep CPQ upgraded to the most appropriate version
• Incorporate industry-standard user interface designs that are intuitive and user-friendly
• Design data integrity protocols to prevent errors and ensure data quality
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience in:
• Healthcare
• Business
• Computer Science
• Education
• Other relevant fields
• 5 – 7 years of relevant experience
• Minimum of 3 years of cloud application experience
• Minimum of 5 years of Java and scripting language experience (BML experience desirable)
Skills & Qualifications:
• Deep understanding of CRM and Quote to Cash (Q2C) processes
• Experience with Salesforce.com CRM and cloud applications such as BigMachines
• Hands-on sandbox and production design & development experience
• Prefer experience configuring & supporting Salesforce.com AppExchange applications
• Ability to work cross-functionally across global teams for alignment on Salesforce and supporting systems
• Strong knowledge of system infrastructure and master data models
• Experience in migrating designs and data elements from sandbox to production
• Proficiency in implementing WebService SOAP calls in Oracle CPQ (BigMachines) for unique/complex requirements
• Experience leading complex system projects and project teams
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
