Role Description

• Must have DOD Clearance

• This is a contract, remote role for a Cloud Specialist - Azure (WordPress) with a government client. The Cloud Specialist will be responsible for managing and supporting cloud infrastructure, specifically on the Azure platform. The role involves integrating and troubleshooting WordPress-based solutions, developing software to optimize cloud usage, ensuring seamless integration of cloud services, and providing continuous support and improvements.
Qualifications
• Experience in managing Azure Cloud Computing platforms
• Proficiency in Infrastructure management and integration
• Strong Software Development abilities for optimizing cloud usage
• Skills in Troubleshooting and supporting cloud-based solutions, especially WordPress
• Previous federal website compliance experience strongly preferred.
• Deep knowledge of WCAG guidelines, ARIA roles, screen readers, and accessible design best practices.
• Compliance aspects of Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 standards.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Conduct monthly accessibility testing and update the Section 508 sitemap inventory
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to collaborate with remote teams effectively
• Contribute to design reviews and theme implementations for accessibility from the ground up.
• Lead annual website accessibility audits and remediation strategies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Relevant certification in Azure or Cloud Computing is a plus
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Azure Monitor, Azure DevOps and Scalable MySQL
on Azure , machine learning, or a related field
• Knowledge of government security compliance standards.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
• Microsoft Azure certification (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-500, AZ-305)
• Clearance Required: NACI adjudicated (Public Trust or Secret)
