Job Description:

Razor is seeking a highly skilled Palantir Data Engineer to join our team working on advanced data systems. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of front-end and back-end skills, with a strong understanding of building data pipelines, developing infrastructure, and data visualization. You will work within a mature system that requires optimization and maintenance of existing data pipelines, as well as new greenfield projects that involve creating data-driven solutions from scratch.

This role offers the unique opportunity to contribute to mission-critical projects using Palantir technologies within a secure environment, requiring a Secret clearance. As a Palantir Data Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing and maintaining an established data infrastructure, while also being involved in front-end development for user interaction, reporting, and visualization.

Key Responsibilities:

   • Data Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines to process large datasets for enterprise use.

   • Infrastructure Maintenance: Support and enhance existing data infrastructure while ensuring data integrity, reliability, and performance.

   • Greenfield Project Execution: Lead the development of new data systems and solutions from the ground up, leveraging Palantir Foundry to integrate, manage, and analyze data.

   • Front-end Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build user-friendly dashboards and visualizations, enabling end-users to interact with data effectively.

   • Data Integration: Work with large datasets to ensure seamless integration, data quality, and security in alignment with Palantir's capabilities.

   • Collaboration: Work with product teams, analysts, and other engineers to define data requirements and ensure successful delivery of solutions.

   • Security and Compliance: Ensure that all data processes and solutions comply with government security protocols and regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

   • Palantir Foundry/Gotham Expertise: Proven experience with Palantir technologies, particularly in designing and maintaining data systems.

   • Data Engineering: Strong background in building and maintaining data pipelines, ETL processes, and handling large-scale datasets.

   • Front-end Development: Experience with data visualization tools and frameworks (e.g., dashboards, reporting tools) to create intuitive and effective user interfaces.

   • Programming: Proficient in Python, SQL, and other relevant programming languages for data manipulation and analysis.

   • Experience in Mature Systems: Familiarity with working in a well-established data system, optimizing performance, and maintaining data infrastructure.

   • Greenfield Project Experience: Experience in developing data systems and solutions from the ground up.

   • Clearance Eligibility: Active or prior Secret clearance with the ability to obtain one.

Preferred Qualifications:

   • Experience working with government agencies or defense-related projects.

   • Knowledge of cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure) and their integration with Palantir.

   • Experience with data security and compliance in classified environments.
