Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS & Automation)
Location: Mostly Remote but Candidate must be local to listed locations:

Pay Rate Range: $73/Hr. - $75/hr. on W-2
Note: Candidates must be US citizens on US soil due to FedRAMP.
Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, engineer, and maintain Cisco cloud infrastructure security microservices.
• Operate day-to-day Talos Backend platform functions using tools like Kubernetes, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
• Monitor and maintain services for availability, latency, and overall health—introducing new technologies or tools to drive improvements.
• Implement long-term fixes and automation for recurring Talos Backend issues.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, and Automation teams to deploy and maintain scalable, reliable solutions.
• Supported and maintained FedRAMP documentation, such as System Security Plans (SSPs) and architecture diagrams.
• Promote and follow Test-Driven Development, CI/CD, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices.
• Please participate in a weekly on-call rotation and provide 24x7 incident support when needed.
Minimum Requirements (Must-Have Qualifications):
• 10+ years of total experience in DevOps, Cloud Operations, Site Reliability Engineering, and Software engineering.
• 5+ years experience with automation of system processes.
• 5+ years of deep hands-on experience with AWS services, including but not limited to:
• EKS, Lambda, Spark, S3, EC2, etc.
• 5+ years of scripting experience with Python.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must be based within the 48 contiguous United States.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have):
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in DNS and name resolution technologies.
• Working experience in AWS GovCloud and with FedRAMP compliance.
• Experience with open-source technologies such as:
• Docker, Kafka, Prometheus, etc.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong communication, documentation, and team collaboration skills.
