Must Haves:
• Bachelor’s Degree in IT
• 10+ years of true IT Experience
• 5+ years of experience with Azure
(Ex. Azure virtual Networks, Security Groups, Firewalls and VPN, Site Recovery, Automation, Backup and Restoration, IaaS to PaaS / SaaS migration, Cloud Adoption Framework, Azure Blueprints and Policy, Azure DevOps, Azure Active Directory & Single Sign-on (SSO)
• Windows Desktop Services / Office 365 / Azure VD
• Project Management experience
Plusses:
• Azure solution architect certificate
• Microsoft Active Directory (Site Topology, DNS, DHCP, DFS(r), Account Management, AD FS, Enterprise CA, AD Design Skills, GPOs, KMS, ETC.)
Day to Day:
Insight Global is seeking a Cloud Solution Engineer for our Aluminum Manufacturing client based locally in Pittsburgh. The position will be onsite 5 days a week in either downtown or their New Kensington facility. They will be responsible for supporting the Corporate Enterprise Infrastructure business. This position provides professional-level support for the company's Microsoft Azure deployments including design and implementation Windows infrastructure in the cloud and on-premise, including Azure Cloud Environment, Microsoft Azure Active Directory, and existing Windows & Office 365 systems. The successful candidate will lead support in the current environment and develop, deploy, and maintain new systems.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Develop, document, make recommendations, and communicate plans for deploying and maintaining IT infrastructure, including analysis of cost reduction opportunities;
• Validation of application teams’ designs for adherence to company standards;
• Participate in proof-of-concept tests to assist in defining technology direction and enabling business strategy;
• Communicate and validate program architecture with Infrastructure Team, Project Management Office, and other organizational teams;
• Perform end-to-end technical design, develop infrastructure blueprints for the implementation of new solutions, create impact analyses, and design modifications to existing systems to support new solutions;
• Maintain a common documentation library of standardized procedures and configurations;
• Provide top level of support for incidents and problems in designated areas of expertise;
• Maintain an off-shore and on-shore model of human resources for development efforts and operational support.
Compensation:
$40/hr to $55/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
