Job Title: DevOps Engineer (AWS Cloud Infrastructure)

Location: Irving, TX (Onsite)

Duration: 12 months (Possible Extension)

Job Description:

Seeking a DevOps Engineer with strong AWS Cloud Infrastructure experience. Responsible for designing, deploying, and managing scalable, secure cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines. Hands-on engineer with expertise in automation, scripting, and AWS services.

Key Responsibilities:
• AWS Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage AWS services like ECS, EKS, S3, and Lambda.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Lightspeed.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and deploy Helm charts (mandatory) and Terraform for repeatable environments.
• Automation & Scripting: Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Bash, Python, and Ansible.
• Monitoring & Alerting: Set up AWS CloudWatch, ELK stack, or Grafana for system health and performance.
• Security & Compliance: Implement AWS security best practices, IAM policies, encryption, and network security.

Required Qualifications:
• Hands-on experience with Helm (mandatory) for deploying CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Terraform (preferred) but must be recent with Helm.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, and Ansible (40-50% of the role).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AWS EKS).
• Proficiency in monitoring tools (AWS CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Understanding of AWS security best practices (IAM roles, encryption, network security).
• CI/CD tools experience (Harness, Jenkins, Lightspeed, GitHub).
• Experience in DevOps environments, deploying and managing code rather than just managing infrastructure.
• Java development experience is a plus.
