Position Title: Business Intelligence (BI) Manager

Work Arrangement: Onsite (5 days per week)

The Role

We are seeking a Manager of Business Intelligence to take ownership of the company’s reporting and business intelligence processes. This individual will be responsible for developing scalable and actionable Power BI reports, ensuring data integrity across various systems, and aligning business needs with technical solutions.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the Director of Finance and other key stakeholders to translate business requirements into efficient, repeatable reporting solutions while minimizing one-off reports unless explicitly needed. This role requires onsite presence at our Marietta, GA location, with occasional travel to other company sites and a possibility for hybrid work after the initial period.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead the development, deployment, and maintenance of Microsoft Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Work closely with the Director of Finance to understand business needs and deliver scalable BI solutions.
• Establish and enforce best practices for data governance and report development, ensuring consistency and accuracy across systems.
• Prioritize and manage data requests, focusing on long-term strategic reporting solutions rather than ad hoc reports.
• Collaborate with vendors managing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and other platforms to ensure data integrity and seamless integration.
• Oversee data pipelines, data warehousing (Azure preferred), and integration workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF)/Data Pipelines Gen2.
• Lead and mentor a small team of report developers, providing guidance on technical development and professional growth.

Required Skills & Experience
• Expertise in SQL, Power BI, and data modeling, with strong proficiency in DAX and interactive report design.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and data lake/warehousing architectures.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP platforms.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions, minimizing ad hoc reporting.
• Proven experience managing small teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence non-technical business leaders.
• 5+ years of experience in BI or data analytics roles, including 2+ years in a leadership capacity.
• Python experience is a plus, but not required.
