

Business Intelligence Engineer II
Responsibilities
Kforce has an enterprise client seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer II in Bellevue, WA. Summary: The client is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to join a dynamic new data team focused on building and maintaining robust data pipelines and analytics dashboards. This is an opportunity to shape how the team accesses, utilizes, and distributes data that continues to inform critical decision making within the organization. You will work closely with Business Intelligence Engineers, Data Scientists, Product Managers, Systems Engineers and more. Key Tasks:
• Business Intelligence Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines to support reporting and analytics needs
• Create and optimize automated data workflows using modern data engineering tools
• Build and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms; Quicksight experience is preferred and highly valuable
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and consistency across all reporting systems
• Design and implement data models that enable efficient reporting and analysis
• As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will monitor pipeline performance and implement improvements for better efficiency
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Document data flows, transformations, and dashboard specifications
Requirements
• 3-6 years of experience working with large-scale complex datasets and building data pipelines
• Build and maintain interactive dashboards (3+ years): BI visualization tool (Quicksite, Tableau, Power BI); Strong preference on Quicksite
• Strong expertise in SQL and data modeling
• Proficiency in at least one BI visualization tool (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.)
• Knowledge of data warehouse concepts and dimensional modeling
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders
Preferred Skills
• Plus if they have experience with Metric type reporting before; Metrics in general would be a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
