Position Title: BI Data Developer

Location: Phoenix AZ

Position Status: Contract

Pay Rate: $60/hour on W2 (Based on experience)

Must: Local candidate

Summary:

The BI Data Developer will design, develop, and maintain data solutions for over one million K-12 students, parents, teachers, and staff in Arizona. This role focuses on Power BI, T-SQL, SSIS, and other data tools to support business processes, data analysis, and reporting.

Responsibilities:
• Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Create and maintain database objects and scripts using T-SQL.
• Build ETL solutions using SSIS for data processing and management.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Perform impact analysis on change requests and estimate development efforts.
• Ensure data quality, implement business rules, and optimize database performance.
• Support production systems and participate in troubleshooting and defect resolution.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups.

Required Skills:
• Strong experience with Power BI, SQL Server (T-SQL, SSIS), and relational database modeling.
• Knowledge of query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
