Backend Tech Lead

Back-End Tech Lead - Greenwood Village, CO

Our client is seeking a Technical Lead to assist in planning and designing engineering solutions. This role involves delivering API features for customer facing web pages within the telecommunications industry.

The team is looking for someone who specifically has in depth knowledge of API development and design specific to high-volume production environments.

Tech Stack/Qualifications:
• The basics of the tech stack: The GraphQL layer is JavaScript based, and our REST API layer (underlying the GraphQL layer) are Java/spring based. The split is roughly 50/50 Node/spring for the number of services. They also utilise Swagger/OpenAPI to design APIs
• databases (SQL/NoSQL)
• Spring Boot and related libraries
• Git-based repositories and CI/CD pipelines
• Work with architects and peer tech leads on feature design and implementation
• Familiar with test automation platforms (Karate or similar)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
