Accounting Analyst

Compensation: $50-$60/hr

Position: Accounting Analyst

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Accounting Analyst to join their team!

This opportunity offers a chance to play a key role in rebuilding reporting tools and systems for a growing organization. As an Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering and documenting reporting requirements, creating detailed financial reports, and transitioning legacy systems to new, efficient technologies. The company is focused on improving its financial processes and needs someone with a solid understanding of financial data and accounting principles. This position is critical to their success, and it's a great chance to showcase your expertise while working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
• Gather and document reporting requirements from stakeholders to ensure the needs of the business are met.
• Develop and generate various financial accounting reports, including trial balance, income statements, operating statements, revenues, expenditures, and others.
• Transition legacy reports to new systems and data sources while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Quickly learn new reporting technologies to enhance reporting capabilities and improve efficiency.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in Financial Accounting, with a strong understanding of financial accounting principles and processes.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Experience with data analysis and querying, including SQL and Python.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
• Proficiency in SAP ERP systems (SAP S/4 experience is a plus).
• Experience with BI Visualization Tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Spotfire.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
