Job Title: Snowflake Developer/Admin
Location: Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Visa: EAD
Experience level: 12+ years
• Note: Only W2 Profiles, No C2C Accepted.

• Hiring Manager notes:
• Looking for more of a Snowflake SME (administration and development).
• Will focus more on the administration, development, performance, cost, use-case side of the team
• 7+ years of total professional experience.
• 3+ years of Snowflake experience.
• Any Cloud experience (Azure, AWS, Google) is required.
• CI/CD experience is required.
• Python development experience is required
• Any AI/ML experience is a big plus
• Any Snowflake Cortex experience is a big plus
• Onsite 3+ days per week in Pittsburgh (Lake Mary is a secondary, less ideal option)
• HM is open to relocating candidates
• Contract to hire is possible but not promised
Responsibilities:
• Provide development effort for projects like Datamart s, Client Analytics.
• Administrate Snowflake accounts and support Snowflake control plane to enable Snowflake tenants workloads.
• Work in an Agile methodology to provide expertise and share the best software development practices with the team.
• Collaborate with product owners, quality engineers and cross functional teams to provide solutions and solve design and architectural problems.
• Ability to do quick proof of value for upcoming Snowflake cloud features.
Must haves:
• BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Expertise on Snowflake is a must and should be able to administrate Snowflake DB and should know Snowflake Information metadata schemas and Snowflake internals.
• CI/CD DevOps and work experience with Gitlab and automation.
• Integrate snowflake with different BI tools.
• SQL experience.
• Distributed cloud services (preferably Azure).
• Distributed data loading (Kafka, Snowpark, and Spark).
• Working knowledge of relational and in-memory databases: Oracle, Vertica, and Hazelcast.
• Must be well versed with authentication and authorization in cloud services.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

• AI/ML experience
