• Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Office 365 Support Engineer to join their IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in deploying and supporting Office 365 environments, as well as experience with Windows systems administration and Azure cloud services. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage and troubleshoot Office 365 issues, perform system administration tasks, and support our cloud infrastructure.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $50 - $60 / hr. w2
Responsibilities:
Office 365 Deployment and Support:
• Plan, execute, and manage Office 365 deployments and migrations.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Office 365 applications, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Manage user accounts, licenses, and permissions within the Office 365 admin center.
• Monitor and maintain the health and performance of the Office 365 environment.
Windows Systems Administration:
• Perform routine maintenance and updates on Windows servers and workstations.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, and other Windows-based services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on Windows systems.
• Ensure system security and compliance with company policies.
Azure Cloud Services:
• Assist in the deployment and management of Azure cloud resources.
• Monitor and optimize Azure performance and cost.
• Implement and manage Azure Active Directory and related services.
• Support cloud-based applications and services.
General IT Support:
• Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Document and maintain IT procedures and knowledge base articles.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure seamless IT operations.
Experience Requirements:
• Proven experience as an Office 365 Support Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Office 365 applications and services.
• Experience with Windows systems administration, including Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services and infrastructure.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or similar are a plus.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support, with a focus on Office 365 and Windows systems.
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
