Role description

We’re working with a forward-thinking housing organisation that’s looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Manager to join on an interim basis and take ownership of their business intelligence and reporting function.

This is a key role focused on driving data integrity, supporting strategic planning, and improving how performance is tracked, reported, and acted upon. It’s hands-on, fast-paced, and ideal for someone who enjoys both the detail and the bigger picture.

What you’ll be doing

   • Leading performance reporting across the organisation – creating dashboards, reports, and insights that drive decision-making.

   • Overseeing Power BI development – including modelling, visualisation, and end-user support.

   • Aligning performance metrics with business plans and strategic objectives.

   • Managing one direct report and collaborating with senior stakeholders.

   • Supporting customer satisfaction survey design, analysis and reporting.

   • Working with data protection and IT teams to ensure compliance with GDPR and robust data governance.

   • Providing performance reports for board and committee meetings.

What we’re looking for

   • Proven experience in a BI, Performance or Data Manager role.

   • Strong technical skills with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and SQL.

   • Ability to translate data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

   • Comfortable working in a regulated, service-driven environment – housing sector experience is a strong advantage.

   • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

This is an initial 3 month contract, with the potential for extension  and we’re looking for someone available for an immediate start.
