AWS DevOps Engineer
Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is seeking an AWS DevOps Engineer in Holyoke, MA. Summary: We are looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer consultant who is fluent in managing an enterprise multi-region AWS deployment utilizing Terraform and GitOps. This resource is expected to contribute to a current high priority AWS migration project immediately. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Company's Infrastructure Engineering. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a collaborative environment with integrated code reviews and continuous integration practices. They will be accustomed to openly sharing their ideas and contributing actively to team discussions. Responsibilities:
• Will work with IntelliJ IDEA with various plugins and features
• JIRA scrum board for task management
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with Git integration for repository management
• Experience with Spring Boot
• Experience with Maven build configuration, view, edit, and execution
• Experience with the latest JDK versions (e.g., JDK 17 and 21)
• Knowledge of JUnit testing and code coverage reporting
• Knowledge of TypeScript
• Knowledge of Playwright
• Familiarity with AWS
• Familiarity with Terraform
• Familiarity with React
• Strong proficiency in Java coding
• Proficiency in working with Maven repositories for plugins and dependencies
• Database skills including PostgreSQL and Oracle
• Resilience under pressure
• Comfortable using JIRA to manage work
• Ability to work with multiple projects with separate Maven builds
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
