Job Title: Data Science Engineer

Pay Rate: $37/hr on W2
Duration:6+ Months of Contract on W2
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Science Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will apply developed subject matter knowledge to solve diverse and complex business challenges, working within established guidelines while recommending innovative alternatives. As a vital member of the team, you will lead data science projects, collaborate with internal and external partners, and provide mentorship to junior staff. Your expertise in experimental design, data analysis, and visualization will drive insights and innovations that impact the organization’s success.
Key Responsibilities
• Participate in the design, development, and implementation of data science projects to generate insights, products, and technologies.
• Develop and execute plans for data collection, analysis, and visualization to support project objectives.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to conduct experiments and validations in line with project requirements.
• Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to establish procedures for collecting, recording, analyzing, and communicating data.
• Prepare technical literature, presentations, and documentation for peer reviews, publications, and industry events.
• Draft patent applications and supporting materials to protect intellectual property.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to less-experienced team members.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience, including graduate or postgraduate research.
Knowledge & Skills
• Proficiency in scientific design, data collection methodologies, and analysis tools/packages.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex business challenges.
• Experience in experimental design, scientific processes, and data analysis techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with mastery in English.
• Ability to effectively present research findings, negotiate options, and engage with stakeholders at various levels.
